A big and wide stretch of sand, Wailea Beach is a popular spot. It has a paved walk running the length of it, connecting the beach with the world class hotels, restaurants and shops that line its shore.

Wailea Beach Hawaii is also a great place to do some whale watching. From the month of December right into April, Whales can be spotted from shore or you could take a whale watching boat tour. While watching these creatures from shore can be fun, being right up close to these massive whales is an experience you’ll remember for a life time.

Thanks to the lava points on either end of the shore, the water is calm, making Wailea Beach a great place for swimming.

It is also a great spot to enjoy sunbathing and snorkeling. There are places near the beach where you can rent equipment if needed. Wailea Beach also has both restrooms and showers.

Kaanapali Beach Hawaii is also a great place for; sunbathing, swimming, body boarding, sailing, and whale watching, among many other fun activities.

Especially during winter season, high surf can get rough at Kaanapali Beach. Be constantly aware of weather conditions, and if they don’t look good, don’t go in the water. Another thing to be aware of, are the currents at Black Rock, which at times, can be quite strong. Always obey the posted signs and warnings on the beach.
